Toys for Tots

Last week was our latest Toys for Tots broadcast. I believe it made for the 8th annual toy drive and this one was a huge success again.
We can never thank everyone enough for all the help and generosity we get to see during that week.
This is a job where you get to see more of that than a lot of other people. If you just work in an office, you get to see a little bit of that, but we get to see it come pouring in from all directions for 28 hours without ever taking a break. Same thing applies to the bad at other times, though. The positivity and sense of community we get to enjoy during the 28 hour broadcast really makes up for all the sad stories and sob stories we get to hear the rest of the year. We hear about sick children and people who die too young and sometimes it can really bring your day down, but other times, like when we collect thousands of toys for needy kids, it is enough to bring your day up and make the whole year seem a little better and brighter no matter what else is going on.
