The Jupiter Tide is a five piece alternative rock band based out of the music hub of Charlotte, North Carolina. “JUPITER” is a very symbolic title because it is the biggest planet in our solar system, the brightest planet in our solar system and it was also the name of the Roman King of the gods. The “TIDE” is a very symbolic title because it deals with the sea levels, which just so happen to take up approximately 71% of the earth’s surface. By putting the two big titles together, they not only produced a big rock name, they also produced a big rock sound and a big rock show. The Jupiter Tide has proven that they can deliver on these promises. They have flooded the local rock scene with their unique sound, washing away the usual apathy from audiences. Their sound is so unique that many of their growing fan base have said that they may be creating a new genre called, “Ele-metal” which comes from the wide variety of influences that each band member has, combined with a very powerful metal tone. This phenomenon of integration comes from the musical talent from each musician, as well as the decades of experience they all share.
