I want a new shirt!

Birthday Bash is here again! It seemed like it was tough to get everything locked down for 2011 but Mark Hendrix and the powers that be made it happen and brought back Five Finger Death Punch for a second straight year after they put on a spectacular show last fall in Simpsonville.
This year, we are at the Bi Lo Center and it feels like we've hit Madison Square Garden in Greenville terms. It really is exciting.
Personally, I'm happier than anyone else that we brought back Five Finger Death Punch because I selfishly hope I can get another shirt from them. See, I was put in a tough position last year at Birthday Bash. I had this sweet Five Finger Death Punch paintball jersey, but I wasn't wearing it because it was a little warm out there. I had it over my shoulder and I was on my way out of the show after everything wrapped up. A child approached me and asked me for the shirt. I really didn't want to give it up. No kid needs a 3xl paintball jersey. He was maybe 8 or 9 and not even fat. He was a skinny kid who probably used the shirt as a bed sheet. On a queen size bed.
So his parents were there too and they were pretty drunk, so they didn't tell the kid to stop or anything. They just looked at me like I was Mean Joe Greene and I found myself in the unfortunate position of having to give up my cool new shirt I'd gotten directly from the band! They were so nice and so generous and gave us a bunch of those shirts for everyone who works at the station. Even Jeff! But when we left that night, I was the only one without proper paintball attire. Now I get my second chance! Thank you, Five Finger Death Punch! Thank you, Birthday Bash!
